Once again, we were greeted by a very friendly, welcoming gent who gave us some good advice. He asked about our journey. We told him that we were in Ipswich for a funeral. He asked if we needed anything, he then brought an ironing board, iron and hairdryer to the room. Great service. He is a credit to travelodge. Only downside was that the TV had lots of channels not available. We made the staff aware.

Fastest checkin I think I have ever had - under 30 seconds. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent big room, clean fresh sheets. Clean en-suite. I was expecting noise and traffic. I got a great night sleep and feels like no one else is here.

Great hotel, my husband and I came back again and it turned out that I had recently left earrings and a hair tie in the bathroom and the lady at the reception gave me an envelope with my loss.

The building is in need of a bit of TLC but the staff are friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, what more do you need from a Travelodge.

Customer service by the receptionists were great but that was about all I can say about this Travelodge.
The bed was actually good but the shower, toilet and sink were awful. Mould everywhere and the shower had a huge crack in it which as a result made the water pressure non-existent.
Needs renovating big time - perfect a for a few hours stay over night but more than that, find somewhere better.

This Travelodge really needs to be fumigated, we had several rooms booked this weekend. Rooms had spiders and crickets in them. The room we stayed in had terrible bed bugs and we are bitten quite badly. No hairdryers in the rooms - really odd. Wouldn’t recommend

Locatio great for our needs 5 mins from son and daughter in law house , but no restaurant so no breakfast, however there is a greggs and BK on the complex

It’s not a luxury hotel, but was clean and friendly and had everything needed for a roadside stop over with a 24 hour shop right beside it.

A great experience all round. Exceptional value for money. Most surprisingly the staff we so friendly and nice. Danny and another gent were so nice to talk to and probably the most enthusiastic to help in any hotel.

Cheap if you book ahead of time.
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Dog friendly.
Not a holiday destination in itself, but a good launching point or stopover to break up the journey.

Travelodge not as good as some stayed in. Rooms adequate like all Travelodge rooms. First time stayed in travelodge where not been able watch BBC news channel. Also new smart TV only partly tuned in. When mentioned this to receptionist he showed total lack of interest or concern.

No one was on reception when we arrived, waited a while, then had to phone someone so we could check in. Rooms clean and tidy, it does what it's supposed to do .

Located just off A14 so location is superb rest it’s Travelodge and it does exactly what it says on the tin, only one issue there is just enough water in shower to wash your face very slow water.

Гарячої води ввечері немає, на рецепції сказали, що бойлери не розраховані на велику кількість людей, і щоб прийняти душ, треба чекати, поки нагрівається вода. Всю ніч чекати доведеться?

Only if there is no other place available I would say use it. The room had smell of cigarette and there was no shower gel in the dispenser.

We Always stay here as the staff are very friendly especially Andrew and Vanessa - nothing too much trouble and always have time for a friendly chat - the rooms are always clean and well maintained.
